But in the world of COVID-19, what is the risk of having someone else prepare your food, in your home?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ensuring Your Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cookingenie.com\/\">CookinGenie<\/a> takes health and cleanliness seriously. In addition to following CDC and FDA guidelines, our Genies follow food safety practices, and we have several procedures in place to ensure the safety of you and our Genies through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>To begin, we look to the CDC, which states: \u201cCurrently, there is no evidence to suggest that handling food or consuming food is associated with COVID-19,\u201d and \u201cthere is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 spreads to people through food.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FDA provides additional guidance around food preparation safety. With COVID-19, we understand the concern related to high-touch surfaces, especially those in the kitchen. Our Genies take special care with handwashing and clean your kitchen when they are done preparing your food.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-238 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cookingenie.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-29-at-10.36.52-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"692\" height=\"1382\" \/><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\">Image Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">FDA<\/a><\/h6>\n<p>In addition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will reschedule appointments if anyone \u2013 you or our Genies \u2013 are not feeling well<\/li>\n<li>All our Genies wear masks at all times while in your home, regardless of local mandates<\/li>\n<li>All our Genies are mindful of social distancing while in your home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>So, what\u2019s the risk? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Compared to other activities, CookinGenie provides a lower-risk option to enjoy fresh, quality meals in the comfort of your own home without a trip to the grocery store.
